Sports Day @ School...

SPORTS DAY @ SCHOOL

It happened yesterday, on the 11th of February (THURSDAY)...Sports day @ School ....
After days of training under the hot scorching Sun...finally its time to show what we've got...
It was time....
Went to school around 6 in the morning....early cuz have to do some last minutes adjustments on our uniforms and stuffs...It was still quite dark then....but many students were already in school...
After a few adjustments...we were all geared up for the event to come.....As soon as we did a little bit of warming up...

Cikgu Idrus asked all involved in the marching...to head to the field....
Feeling grateful as the field was dry...not muddy....
So....after a few words of encouragement frm our teacher and oso commander....we were all set for action..
The Sun was just starting to shine down upon us....

After the arrival of VIPs...sang lagu Negaraku..Sabah Tanah Airku..and also the school song.
Then it was time for the "Lintas Hormat" event....
The Pancaragam went first....ahh...Music....Then it was time for the Pengawas contingent to start moving...
After that...it was time for PBSM...to march on....We started slowly...
With our high spirits...we slowly march towards the grandstand of the field..
We marched pass the grandstand while...the VIP gave us a salute....Then...continued...to march on..until our stopping point...beside the pengawas contingent...seconds later....the Kadet Polis was standing beside us...
Felt relief..as dont have to march anymore....all theres left to do is a few small movements like Senang Diri...and etc...and oso we must stand...(without moving an inch or else marks will be deducted) while the VIPs make their speeches..enduring the heat of the Sun.....which was the toughest part...I felt..

A few events happen that moment..
- Menaikkan bendera Sukan
- Membaca Ikrar
- Speeches frm VIPs
- Menyalakan Obor ( by Asif)

Felt that this year...the speeches were shorter than previous years.......TQ for tat..
Then...after that...it was finally time to Keluar Baris.....Everyone  was waiting for that moment...
Phew...Finally it was over....within an hour or so...
Later on...we had photo taking sessions...
...then it was time to rest our feet.......

After that....sum acara began to take place...and I and a few had nothing to do..so helped in PC....
A few injuries...here and there...some got cramps...and etc.
Then Tarik Tali event began...
Too bad....Marikh got 2nd for the Girls Category..(beaten by Musytari)
Marikh Boys...not sure what place they got...but they didnt enter the final stage..
Congrats to Uranus (boys) and Musytari (girls) for winning..the Tarik Tali event...

Then it was results time..
"Tempat ketiga dalam acara perbarisan ialah KRS" (felt relief for a moment) "Tempat Kedua dimenangi oleh PBSM" zz...our hearts sank...."dan Tempat Pertama dimenangi oleh Kadet POLIS!!" then..the Kadet Polis started jumping and screaming with joy....all we could do was look at them with envy and dissapointment..
We Started singing emo songs.....the others were looking at us....LOL...
Personally...felt dissapointed..cuz didnt get FIRST PLACE like we did last year...but at the same moment satisfied....cuz we are still able to beat others (they had weeks of practice) when we only practiced for 3 days...It was a great achievement...but T.T..anyways congratz to KADET POLIS for winning...

Other results:
Marikh got FIRST PLACE in perbarisan rumah sukan..
Marikh got LAST overall...T.T....kesian

Went home feeling tired....dissapointed...satisfied...mixed up feelings....
Enjoyed todays session of free tanning...now very dark...
Overall...had a great day....I think we can improve more...Elvy did a great job in giving commands to all the kontingen perbarisan...and thats all..

-------------------------------------------------------------
So today...the holidays are starting (1 week + )......no school today...CNY is almost around the corner...SO wanna wish everyone a happy CHINESE NEW YEAR 2010..
Sum photos..
