Good. Just wanna have time to relax and swing into holiday mood...PLUS the WORLD CUP 2010 @ SOUTH AFRICA is going to start today..Almost everyone is having football fever at the moment. If I was asked of my favourite team, I would say both Spain and France!! Hopefully they can win.. Haha!
Lets put football aside for a moment and lets see what events that kept me busy for the past few weeks:
A VISIT FROM TEMASEK SECONDARY SCHOOL
I believed it was the 19th May, when a group of students from a prestigous school in Singapore came to visit SM Lok Yuk as one of their destinations during the holiday trip. These students were no ordinary students. They are the Canoeing Team , they won a competition and got a choice to choose between several places to have a visit, and they chosed Sabah, and ultimately Lok Yuk as one of their stop-by visits.
Was involved in the welcoming comittee. The minute they arrived, the loud sounds of the 24 Chinese Drums welcomed them. Then, a short briefing before we led them in a tour around the school. Later, had friendly games of badminton and basketball. Then by the end of the day, we exchanged gifts and hardest part, saying goodbye. Love you guys from Temasek!! XD
22/05/2010 (Saturday) : No Apologies Live, Love and Sex education Talk..
The Seekers Club had this event: A talk about live, love and sex by the FOCUS ON THE FAMILY MALAYSIA. 7 speakers spoke for almost 9 hours. But it was worth to attend the talk, very fun and interactive activities. This is an eye opener especially teenagers at this present modern world about the dangers of premarital sex. Abstinence is the way.
By the end of the day, we were prayed for and each received a letter from their wife-to-be/husband-to-be .
Also signed a pledge to keep away from sex until marriage. Touching T.T Cried reading the letter...IT WAS AWESOME!

This thing went on for bout two weeks. Class by class, clubs by clubs, we had to call them down. Very tired walking around the school calling them down. Some walk so slowly as if it was a stroll in a park. HURRY UP YOU PEOPLE! We dont have much time to waste here!..Sum even got postponed to the next day cuz for a few reasons...teacher not present, student not present, students missing,...bla bla bla....
Missed classes. T.T Stayed till the evening.
Majlis Hari Guru 2010
After weeks of planning and preparation, that day came. Every single AJK worked hard for this day to come. It was the 3rd June, the prefects, form 2,4 and 6 had to attend this auspicious occasion.
It was games in the early morning. ONE THING BOUT LOK YUK TEACHERS: WHEN THEY PLAY, THEY PLAY HARD!! hahaha.....just couldnt stand laughing at them playing those games.
Then Pancaragam played songs. Magic shows. Drama. Awesome singing by Eloise and guitar by Bryan. XD
Teachers sang their heart out. Haha..love this cake. The teachers were staring at the cake in amazement! XD
This year, we had sumting different:
Different categories of awards including Guru Paling Garang! haha.XD
The event went smoothly and...congratz to all AJK HARI GURU!
I THINK THATS ALL FOR NOW....HAHA HAPPY HOLIDAYS AND HAPPY FOOTBALL FEVER!! PEACE OFF!
